Peter and Sue's Furry Crew

One of my closest friends picked up and MOVED to Colorado a couple of years ago. When he left, he had a couple of dogs and a wonderful girlfriend whom he adored. Shortly after they arrived in Colorado, they married and now he has a wonderful wife, who adores him equally, and several more dogs. She too is an animal lover and between the two of them, they have created quite the home for the dogs, goats and their horse and any other stray; even of the human variety!

Peter sent me some pictures recently and I wanted to share them on my website. I envy them the snow and cooler temps but I'm afraid, this is as close as I get for now to seeing snow for myself! I would also love to have a crew like this at my home, but alas, Akitas are not fond of such competition!

Missing from this pack of critters is Kudles. He was Peter's first dog (since I've known him and that's been roughly 13 years). Kudles crossed the Rainbow Bridge and took Sue and Peter's love with him. He was a beautiful Malamute/Wolf hybrid. I should have a picture of him real soon.

This is Schatzi - the queen , and Kudah He - the wild one from the Denver concentration camp (City Pound). These are Malamutes. Well, I know Schatzi is, but I'm not sure if Kudah He is. Isn't that a great picture. They look like buds.
This is Rocky - he was abandoned by some asshole in a desolate mountain area. I don't have the full story on this fella, but all of us who are devoted to our Akitas know how sad it is when dogs are treated no better than trash. Sue and Peter are so fortunate to have been adopted by Rocky!
Meet Lalo - the yellow Texas dumpster dog , whom Sue rescued from a Wallmart dumpster as a small puppy in Porter, Tx. You go girls! I'm sure it was love at first sight for both Sue and Lalo. Here she is "laying low" on her favorite leather crouch. A cut above that hot, stinky, disease ridden dumpster. Cooooool leather couch ain't it Lalo?
This lover girl, Chippor, is apparently enamored of only Peter. He describes her as "the antisozial Shitzu , who hates everybody but me". As you can see, there is plenty of room at the "Inn" even for dogs with "issues". Anyone know of a good 12 step program?
Little Miss Peek-A-Boo here is Inky - the one eyed Chihuahua. She also has no teeth , but is worth her weight (2 1/2 lbs.) in gold in terms of entertainment value.
Then there is Lady - The horse. Nuff said right!
